3 Things You Should Be Doing Now For Fall Success

Truth be told - there is no off season for the hardcore deer season. When putting out your Monster Raxx - here are 3 things you should be thinking about, to help ensure you’ll make the most out of your hunting area this year.

1) Preparing stands. It’s no secret - the more you stay out of your hunting areas, the better they will produce. Hanging and installing tree stands now will let your deer relax for most of the Spring and Summer - you just need to stay out. I’d recommend heading back in around August-September, just ahead of a storm to tighten the straps and double check that everything is ready to roll for the upcoming deer season.

2) Rehash Last Year. Still stirring over that deer that got away last year? Plan on it happening again this year. If a deer took a different trail, or changed food sources - there is a good chance it is a pattern that’s been happening for years. Plan and prep the areas that may allow you take hunt these “shifts”.

3) Getting New Gear. New and slightly used gear in great condition can be found right now for bargain prices. Check over your hunting gear and make notes of what you may need to revamp for the deer season. It most likely can be found much cheaper, right now. Check archery websites online, eBay, and Craigslist.

These 3 tips aren’t ground-breaking, and you’ve likely heard of them before. But have you done them? This is the year you can make the most of the hunting area, and doing things right, starts now.
